10-7-13 Brown PTO Update

October 7, 2013

Dear Brown Families,

Thanks to all of you for coming out on Back-to-School night and for supporting the Brown PTO with your donations.  These monies enrich our school and create a fuller learning experience for all of our children. Your PTO works with Principal John Jordan to identify areas that are in need of improvement. Past improvements have included upgrading our computer lab, providing subsidies for field trips, renovating community spaces  (like the lobby), and funding the Creative Arts and Sciences program, to name just a few.

However, it’s not too late to still make a donation! Please click here to donate – every donation supports our school and every family that contributes any amount to the PTO will receive a school directory.

Going forward, parents can expect to receive a Brown Bear Report bi-monthly that will provide you updates and information on all that is happening at Brown.  We hope that  by reading this and visiting the Brown PTO website (www.brownpto.org),  in addition to reading Principal John Jordan’s First Friday Letter, you will be informed on all things Brown! We welcome any and all suggestions on how to keep our families in the loop!!
