FORJ at Brown – First Meeting This Tuesday

FORJ (Families Organizing for Racial Justice) is a coalition of families in and around Newton who believe that antiracism starts and home and in our own school community.

All adult members of the Brown Middle School community are invited to join our first meeting on Tuesday, October 29, 7-8:30 pm in the Brown Library.

Agenda: A brief review of meeting norms, followed by an identity exercise, and a discussion of our goals for the year. Please RSVP to Committee Clerk Kerry Prasad so we have an idea of how many to expect. Even if you do not RSVP, you can still attend!

Childcare will be available onsite for $5 per family. If you will be bringing your children, please email Kerry Prasad. If you require assistance, please contact Principal Jordan.
