Supporting Brown
The PTO provides financial and volunteer support to the school. The funds raised through special events and your annual dues are used to pay for Creative Arts and Science programs, technology enhancements, home-school communications, field trip and school fee subsidies, and so much more. In addition, the PTO provides many opportunities for parents to volunteer at the school; a great way to to get to know your child’s school, and meet teachers and other parents. Please see Committees for more information.
Communication
To facilitate communication between home and school, the PTO publishes a biweekly newsletter, this website, and the school directory.
The newsletter provides current information about events at Brown and is published twice a month via e-mail. The PTO website provides information about the PTO organization, volunteer opportunities, and other information of interest to Brown families. The school directory, which includes team listings, administrator and teacher contacts, parent/student addresses, and phone numbers will be sent home by the end of September.
If you have any questions or would like to get more involved, please feel free to contact us!
