Teams
Each grade is divided into teams of students and teachers; these teams are the heart of the middle school structure. Teams allow teachers to get to know their students well and to be responsive to their developmental needs. Teachers and counselors can readily confer on curriculum projects, as well as educational plans for individual students. Team teachers teach English, Social Studies, Math, and Science courses. Cross team courses include World Language, Fine and Applied Arts, and Physical Education. There are three 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade teams. Each grade will consist of 2 four-teacher teams and 1 two-teacher team.
