It feels like we just finished school, but here we are sending out our first newsletter — summer flew by. Welcome back! And welcome to our new Brown Bears. We hope everyone has a great year.

Thursday, September 24th, 5:30pm-7:30pm: Back-to-School Pizza Party for students and families (rain date, Monday, September 28th).

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We thank in advance all the volunteers that keep the PTO running. If you are interested in joining us, we would love to have you! You can volunteer in big ways or small; take a look here. Right now, we are focusing on finding someone to help with our website, someone to help get our newsletter out each week, and people to help with the back-to-school pizza party.
DONATIONS NEEDED — ANNUAL FUND APPEAL
The PTO needs your financial support. Donations from our Brown community fund educational enrichment programs like Creative Arts and Sciences, school activities and events, teacher appreciation, and our community-building events. The PTO cannot do all the things we want to do without your financial support. We suggest that you donate $75 per student, but no amount is too big or too small! You will also have opportunities to donate non-monetary items throughout the year, including for team activities, teacher appreciation, and community-building events.
Donate here. Donations are tax deductible. And matching donations from employers are a great way to help us meet our goal. Thank you for supporting your PTO!

If you were at Brown or one of Newton’s feeder schools last year, your information has likely carried over, but everyone will need to go in and approve their information (annually) and update anything that may have changed.
If you have never logged in before you will need to create an account. Once logged in, you can also choose what information is visible. We are hoping to have this all completed by mid-September.
