BACK-TO-SCHOOL PIZZA PARTY
The PTO invites students and their families to a back-to-school pizza party from 5:30-7:30pm on Thursday, September 24th (rain date, Monday, September 28th). Come to meet new people, connect with the Brown community, and buy Brownwear! Please RSVP here with the number of family members who will eat pizza so we know how much food to order. Please also let us know if you are able to help with the event. We hope to see you there!
HELP OUT AT BROWN
We would love to find someone to help get our newsletter out each week. This is a great remote role with the additional flexibility of switching with a co-editor each week.
We are also seeking volunteers for Green (7th), Emerald (8th) and Violet (8th) team support. In this role, you serve as a point of contact between team teachers and caregivers to keep caregivers informed of team specific events happening with the team.

DONATIONS NEEDED — ANNUAL FUND APPEAL
We have raised $6k of our target of $29k. Thank you to those that have donated so far! Your donations fund educational enrichment programs like Creative Arts and Sciences, school activities and events, teacher appreciation, and our community-building events.
The PTO cannot do all the things we want to do without your financial support. We suggest that you donate $75 per student, but no amount is too big or too small! You will also have opportunities to donate non-monetary items throughout the year, including for team activities, teacher appreciation, and community-building events.

If you were at Brown or one of Newton’s feeder schools last year, your information has likely carried over, but everyone will need to go in and approve their information (annually) and update anything that may have changed.
If you have never logged in before you will need to create an account. Once logged in, you can also choose what information is visible. We are hoping to have this all completed by mid-September.
