Honor Thy Teacher is a fantastic way for folks to show appreciation to the staff and educators who make such an impact on their student’s lives. With no minimum donation, it is accessible to everyone and truly appreciated by teachers. Teachers get a car magnet and you’ll see them driving around with their multiple years honored displayed proudly.
Newton Schools Foundation (NSF) directly supports each Newton Public School by funding educator initiated grants. Since 1985, NSF has donated over $4million to NPS. Find out more and donate here!
Join us on May 30th for the Carroll Center for the Blind’s annual Walk for Independence, a joyful morning celebrating independence, connection, and opportunity. This free event invites participants to complete a 1 to 3-mile walk around the campus, followed by a celebration with free BBQ, popcorn, and family friendly activities. You’ll even get a chance to meet a Red Sox alum, Lenny DiNardo, and take photos with mascots Wally and Tessie!
The Walk for Independence supports the Carroll Center’s mission of empowering individuals who are blind or visually impaired to achieve independence and lead fulfilling lives. As the nation’s premier vision rehabilitation center, The Carroll Center for the Blind serves individuals of all ages and stages of vision loss, providing essential resources and support to those in need.
