This spring, Brown Working Theatre will be attending the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild’s spring one-act play festival! See the below info if your student is interested in participating:

The Massachusetts Education Theater Guild holds a non-competitive theater festival for middle school one-act plays every spring. Students will attend a day-long festival, present their play, watch other performances, and have their work adjudicated by outside theatre educators and professionals.

Festival Date & Time: Saturday May 9, approx. 7am-8pm (including travel).

BWT will provide bus transportation to and from our Festival site in Stoughton. We will be asking for parent volunteers to meet our chaperone requirements.

IF YOUR CHILD CANNOT ATTEND THE FULL FESTIVAL DAY, THEY CANNOT AUDITION FOR THIS PRODUCTION.

Students who are interested in participating as a cast or crew member must attend one of the following Info Meetings:

Thursday February 12, 1st Extension

Friday February 13, 2nd Extension

Students must have participated in at least one Brown Working Theatre production to participate. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
